–Best Poster Winner: Alexandria Will-Cole (Sandia National Laboratory), ‘Coupled Spin Wave-Surface Acoustic Wave Interactions Supported in a Scandium-Doped Aluminum Nitride-Silicon Carbide Acoustic Platform’.

October 30, 2024: Bin Luo, a PhD candidate in Electrical and Computer Engineering in our lab, was awarded the 2024 American Vacuum Society (AVS) National Graduate Research Award; the AVS MEMS/NEMS Group Best Research Work Award; and the Magnetic Interfaces and Nanostructures (MIND) Division Leo Falicov Student Award Finalist for Best Presentation of Graduate Research at the AVS 70th Symposium in Tampa, Florida.

October 30, 2024: Nian Sun was elected to the Fellowship grade of the American Physical Society.

November 1, 2019: Nian Sun was elected to the Fellowship grade of the IEEE.
